AMOS in Bordeaux, first graduate promotion

Last updated:

The European school AMOS, which has a campus located in Bordeaux, combining Business and Sport, has just graduated its first promotion to the Regional House of Talence. A Bachelor Métiers du Sport, which concludes with the intervention of an athlete, Baptiste SERIN of the Bordeaux Bègles Union, but also people such as Oxbow’s Marketing Director, Jean-Pierre MOTHES.

The ambitions of the AMOS school are clear, meeting the expectations of the sports movements as a whole. It arrived in Bordeaux at a time when sports projects are multiplying and therefore has tremendous opportunities for development and action, including special partnerships, like Euro 2016 football, where the city Girondine has hosted five games in its new stadium, the Matmut Atlantic stadium, or the Bordeaux Marathon, which will take place for its next edition in April 2017 (relationship between the sporting event , the animations carried out but also the traders who find themselves impacted by the event).

This school is intended to bring the values of sport in a new way to businesses, according to them it constitutes renewal.

Already with ten years of experience in the field of education and its various campuses in France and the United Kingdom, AMOS also benefits from a strong network of companies with which it is in partnership. It is a school that wants above all to be professionalizing, offering an atypical teaching environment, and the opportunity for its students to carry out their studies alternately. A way to have a foot in the professional environment and acquire the theoretical skills on the school benches. This has paid off in this area because, according to the school, 85% of its graduate students are entered into the labour market following their graduation.

The school has also set up a direct interface between students and companies called AMOS Lab allowing future sports professionals to have concrete experiences in the field. A relationship where the professional and the student bring each other knowledge, one in high-level sport, and the other in everything related to events and digital, at the heart of his training.

A training that will contribute to the development of sport and all the professions that focus on the latter on Bordeaux…
