Conserto establishes itself in Bordeaux and recruits 70 people
Conserto announces the opening of its Bordeaux office with a desire to hire 70 people in the next three years. Once again, the New Aquitaine Region demonstrates its digital attractiveness.
A “conserto” in the four corners of France
With exceptional growth since its inception, Conserto continues its national network by moving to Bordeaux. This is the seventh office of this Nantes-based company, which also wants to deploy its workforce of 340 to 410 employees within three years. In doing so, it ranks twelfth in the ranking of the most dynamic companies in France (1). Conserto has also been awarded the Great Place To Work Award 2017 , which honours companies committed to the well-being of their employees.
Conserto’s activities include digital, embedded technologies and the cloud, with tailored offerings tailored to the needs of their customers.
A growing trend
The arrival of Conserto in Bordeaux is at the heart of the development of digital companies in the Bordeaux region. The announcement of the opening of the new offices of Ubisoft and OVH had highlighted the new dynamism of the sector. At the end of 2017, the Company Betclic Group also has its presence in Paris and Bordeaux, with the intention of recruiting nearly a hundred people in Bordeaux.
In 2018, Scalian, a company specializing in digital systems, also wants to increase its ranks by a hundred people, as well as Niji, installed last year in Bordeaux, working at the heart of the digital transformation, of which Betclic is notably a customer.
The digital market in New Aquitaine
The Aquitaine market is increasingly favourable to new technologies and new uses of the economy. New Aquitaine is the fourth largest region in France in terms of the creation of digital institutions, and 48% of these companies are turned exclusively into new information and communication technologies (2).
Bordeaux is also the fourth largest city in France in terms of digital establishments, with 4,711 registered companies, or 22,387 employees working in the sector. Finally, 10.8% of business start-ups in Bordeaux are for digital establishments.
Bordeaux Metropole’s commitments to job creation in general, and to create fertile ground for new players in the economy, also contribute to the arrival and development of these companies. One example is the work done to deploy very high-speed broadband in the region, for the private sector and for the public.
