Mutual Harmony rewards companies committed to the health and well-being of their employees

The year 2020, punctuated by containment and uncertainty, has created strong concerns among employees. Mutual Harmony, as every year, organized the Entrepreneurs Health Award. It aims to reward companies that place a special emphasis on the well-being of corporate players. As health and well-being are a determining factor in the proper functioning of a business, it should not be overlooked.

Mutual harmony, for the well-being of employees and entrepreneurs

The Mutual Of Business and Entrepreneurs, Mutual Harmony, has maintained the Entrepreneurs Health Award. In the context of Covid-19, the health of all employees and entrepreneurs is therefore an essential element. To ensure that the company functions properly, entrepreneurs must put in place sanitary devices to improve the health of the company’s players. Health is thus a key factor in entrepreneurial success.

In view of the current health situation, the price has been revitalized and enhanced. The concept of solidarity during the Covid period is integrated into the scheme and overall prizes are now worth 28,000 euros.

The Health Entrepreneurs Award is intended to reward companies that place a special emphasis on the well-being of business players.

This year, a company in New Aquitaine is among the winners of the Entrepreneurs Health Award. Indeed, the company LIBU created in 2019 and based in Talence, has thus won the 3rd prize. Libu creates and markets innovative lighting for employee well-being and health.

These lights are intended to take into account the biological clock of the human body. Thus, artificial lights do not take this into account, this causes more stress and impairs the good quality of sleep. For workspaces, this innovation contributes to well-being and thus to a better quality of work.

The health crisis, an impact on businesses

The health crisis of Covid-19 has thus played a major part in changing business habits. Wearing masks, barrier gestures, widespread telecommuting, enhanced sanitary measures, all new habits that every employee must take. Health therefore takes an important place in everyday life in business. Thus, all of these measures must become mechanical gestures. In other words, gestures that have become normal and are part of a new daily life.

Some companies have been forced to reinvent themselves, to change their business, especially by digitizing it. Others had to reorganize the workspaces in order to respect the recommended distances. And others have had to reorganize working time, putting in place more telework to help reduce the circulation of the virus.

In addition, entrepreneurs have a right to look after the mental health of their employees. In fact, 49% of employees are reported to be in psychological distress by October 2020 (1). This figure is justified in particular by the health crisis, creating anxiety about the uncertain nature of the professional situation in particular.

This is one of the reasons why the Entrepreneurs Health Award organized by Mutual Harmony had a special impact this year.
