The Philtre, a brand new creation, bewitches the establishments of the Co(o)rniche and Ha(a)ïtza. Imagined by three designers and friends, Guillaume RAPPENEAU, as well as the brothers Charles and Frédéric BEIGBEDER, Philtre is a unique organic vodka . This new creation produced in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, in Cognac, is close to nature, and refined. In short, an alcohol that will be suitable for all uses, pure consumption, long-drink or cocktail. The Philtre, contained in original bottles made of recycled glass, seduced the managers of the Hotels La Co(o)rniche and Ha(a)iïtza. So much so that this 100% organic vodka seems to find a place of choice …

After two successful years, Le Philtre vodka’s ambitions are materializing beyond the borders. For the brand, the year 2022 will be under the sign of the international. If vodka was already distributed in France, Switzerland, Belgium in St Barthélémy and Tahiti very selectively in 2022, new opportunities are emerging. They are a sign of success and positive growth. Thus, this year, the brand will be deployed in England, Italy and Germany. Within three years, the Philtre is expected to conquer ten new countries.

This expansion was also made possible thanks to a fundraising of €1.4 million. A fundraising that comes from the historical shareholders of the brand who confidently support the project with the objective of exceeding the milestone of 100,000 bottles sold. Indeed, alongside the Maison Villevert, Le Philtre vodka is a precursor. The creation of vodka is part of a real ecological prism. An ecological approach with strong environmental values that Le Philtre shares sustainably in a partnership with Maison Villevert.

The choice of a modern communication as close as possible to its consumers

Following its two years of existence, Le Philtre vodka would like to thank the customers who have allowed it to develop and who have placed their trust in it. For this, the brand has set up a guide to accompany consumers of Philtre vodka in the realization of their cocktails. The choice of this support is not trivial. Indeed, it echoes the appetites of the creator of the brand for letters. The Philtre, a Vodka like no other

For the creators of this Vodka, the challenge was to be able to offer a result that is both refined and silky, different from other brands that we find on a daily basis. Their goal, to offer an alcohol that is suitable for all types of consumption. She performs with the Maison Villevert, artisans inspired since 1487. Their know-how makes it possible to give vodka its purity and elegance.

A successful bet, when we see the bottles stylized and available in several colors in the bars and kitchens of the Hotels of Pyla. But the creators of the Philtre go even further. Their vodka is organic and 100% natural.

“The ambiguity of the word seemed interesting to us to christen a premium vodka, organic and eco-responsible, literary and chic, manufactured in a totally new way, while respecting the artisanal tradition.”

The Philtre connotation is beautifully illustrated by Guillaume, Charles and Frédéric. At the same time, the eco-responsible dimension takes on its full meaning. Indeed, it is made from winter wheat from organic farming and Eau de Gensac®, recon-

naked for its great purity. In addition, it contains no chemical additives or sugar. The latter two components are used to smooth the final texture.

As a result, the Philtre is both raw, because as pure as possible, but also resolutely high-end, for the realization of complex cocktails and full of flavor. The ecological dimension is found even in the realization of its bottle, made from recycled glass waste. This then makes each bottle unique, the waste recovered and treated is never of the same hue.

Making the circular economy work in the service of refinement

For the three creators of the Philtre, it seemed unthinkable not to send a strong message with their ambitious project. When designing bottles, in particular, reducing energy costs is at the heart of the objectives. Indeed, a stage of the industrial process is abolished, allowing to exploit only existing materials… And so to reduce waste, while continuing to create.

The artisanal aspect also remains very important. In addition to the Philtre, the drink itself, the irregular appearance of the bottles fulfills the mission well. It gives the impression that the bottles are made of blown glass, as do the creators of Murano. More than just a bottle, the Philtre becomes decorative and, to some extent, artistic.

For their part, the Hotels de la Co(o)rniche and Ha(a)ïtza exploit vodka to create unique signature cocktails . Thus, the Philtre de la Dune, created by the Co(o)rniche, contains cane sugar, lemon juice, apple juice, Saint Germain Liqueur, Philtre Organic Vodka infused with Fresh Organic Basil… With 2 strokes of “Bitter peach”, from fresh ginger, elongated to Tonic.

The Hotel Ha(a)ïtza also offers its cocktail version, called the Philtre Marin. It consists of Oléo Saccharum organic yellow lemon, Verjus Bio du Sud-Ouest, Lillet Blanc, Philtre Organic Vodka infused with the Salicornes of gujan Mestras Salt meadows, a pinch of salt from the basin, all elongated with sparkling water “Abatilles”. A cocktail in short totally local, in short, exploiting the riches of the Bassin d’Arcachon.
