The aim of such a show is to be able to highlight industrial performance and theFactory of the Future in New Aquitaine. But ViV Industry doesn’t just bring together end-decision makers from the region. Indeed, it also attracts national, but also European decision-makers. An effective way to contribute to the influence of local businesses and innovations.

Especially since the New Aquitaine region encourages innovation through industry and new technologies in high-tech sectors. This includes the aeronauticssector, real estate construction, the medical sector… These are all sectors of activity in which the region shines. Thus, ViV Industry allows to highlight all innovations around the industry.

ViV Industry rewards the most promising players

During the event, ViV Industry rewards companies in three major categories. Companies that contribute to progress in the industry through their expertise. This gives companies and organizations the opportunity to pitch their projects. A promising presentation, since three companies have come out of the lot, each in their specialty.

The first category was entitled “J’Ose the IoT and the AI”. The award in this category went to Marc BAGUR, CATIE’s development manager. CATIE is the acronym for the Aquitain Center for Information and Electronic Technologies. Based in Talence, the company is particularly interested in Data Sciences; Artificial Intelligence; human factor and cognition; but also to on-board systems and the IoT (Internet of Things).

This company has platforms dedicated to innovation in each of these areas. Vaniila by CATIE is thus focused on artificial intelligence, notably through research projects and innovations in the service of neo-Aquitaine innovation. Peac2h by CATIE is a platform dedicated to cognitive and behavioural evaluation. Finally, 6TRON by CATIE is geared solely towards the Internet of Things. A concept that appeals not only to businesses, but also to individuals.

The second category concerns “Resilience in the Factory of the Future”. Agileo was awarded the award, represented by Marc ENGEL, the Co-Founder. This company, based in Poitiers, specializes in industrial computing, automation and robotics. It also intervenes in many areas of application for which New Aquitaine excels. Electronics, semiconductors, photovoltaics, manufacturing, mobile machines… Or aeronautics and medicaltraining, as mentioned above.

Managing the organizations of the future

At ViV Industry, one last company gets a reward. In the “Manager of the Organizations of the Future” category, FlexThings made the difference. This company, of which Philippe BELHOMME is the Sales Manager, uses augmented reality. Indeed, FlexThings is responsible for optimizing industrial processes with the power of augmented reality. It is a custom-made technology to meet the needs of customers. Thus, all the services offered by FlexThings allow a complete optimization of all branches of the French industry.

A big step forward for industrial progress in France, and especially in New Aquitaine… Carried by the Factory of the Future, the power of the industries… And the constant innovation of local businesses.
